By using the True Voice Review website, submitting a book, purchasing a review package, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About True Voice Review

True Voice Review is an independent editorial review service created to help readers discover books and help authors obtain professional review content for promotional use.

True Voice Review provides paid review services. Payment is for the time, editorial work, and materials included in the selected package. Payment does not guarantee a positive review, favorable rating, recommendation, sales result, media placement, or public recognition.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to purchase services or submit a book through True Voice Review.

By submitting materials, you confirm that you have the legal right and authority to submit the book, manuscript, cover image, author information, and any related content for review.

3. Independent Editorial Reviews

True Voice Review maintains editorial independence.

All reviews, ratings, content notes, pull quotes, market-positioning language, and related materials are based on the reviewer’s professional evaluation of the submitted book.

Authors may not require, direct, revise, or approve the editorial opinion, rating, recommendation, or conclusions contained in a completed review.

True Voice Review reserves the right to decline a submission, discontinue a review, or refuse publication if the book does not meet submission requirements, contains material we are unable to review, or raises legal, ethical, technical, or operational concerns.

4. Review Packages and Deliverables

Each review package includes only the specific materials listed on the True Voice Review website or order form at the time of purchase.

Package details, pricing, promotional benefits, turnaround estimates, and available services may change over time. The package description in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that order.

Any additional services, including press releases, social-media advertising, graphics, promotional placement, expanded review content, or special campaigns, must be specifically included in the selected package or separately agreed to in writing.

5. Submission Requirements

Authors may be asked to provide:

  • Book title

  • Author name or pen name

  • Genre

  • Publication date

  • ISBN, if available

  • Book description

  • Cover image

  • Author biography

  • Purchase link or website

  • Manuscript, PDF, eBook, or review copy

  • Other information reasonably needed to complete the requested service

Submitted materials must be complete, readable, and free from technical restrictions that prevent review.

True Voice Review is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete submissions, unreadable files, missing information, broken links, late responses, or changes requested by the author after submission.

6. Turnaround Time

Any stated turnaround time is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Review completion may be affected by the length of the book, editorial workload, technical issues, submission quality, author response time, holidays, or other reasonable business circumstances.

True Voice Review may contact the author if additional time is needed.

7. Fees and Payments

All fees must be paid according to the payment terms provided during checkout, invoicing, or direct agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Review work begins after payment and required materials are received.

  • Fees are nonrefundable once editorial work has begun.

  • Authors are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.

  • Payment disputes should be raised promptly and directly with True Voice Review before pursuing outside action.

True Voice Review reserves the right to suspend or cancel services if payment is declined, reversed, disputed without cause, or otherwise not received.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Before review work begins, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Once a book has been assigned, read, evaluated, drafted, or otherwise placed into active editorial production, refunds are generally not available because professional time and work have already been committed.

If True Voice Review determines that it cannot complete a purchased service for reasons within its control, an appropriate refund, partial refund, credit, or alternative service may be offered at our discretion.

9. Author Rights and Ownership

Authors retain ownership of their books, manuscripts, cover images, trademarks, copyrights, and submitted creative materials.

By submitting materials to True Voice Review, the author grants True Voice Review a limited, nonexclusive permission to access, read, evaluate, quote from, and use submitted materials only as necessary to provide the selected review service, create agreed-upon promotional materials, or display approved public review content.

True Voice Review does not claim ownership of the author’s book or manuscript.

10. True Voice Review Content Ownership

True Voice Review retains copyright and ownership of its original written reviews, ratings, editorial analysis, review graphics, branding, promotional copy, website content, and related materials.

Authors may use approved excerpts, ratings, pull quotes, graphics, and review language for legitimate promotion of the reviewed book, including on websites, retailer pages, social media, newsletters, press materials, advertising, and event materials.

Authors may not alter a True Voice Review rating, materially change quoted review language, remove context in a misleading way, falsely imply an endorsement beyond the review, or claim ownership of True Voice Review editorial content.

11. Public Promotion and Featured Reviews

True Voice Review may display approved book covers, author names, book descriptions, ratings, review excerpts, pull quotes, and purchase links on its website, social-media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Where applicable, the author may choose whether their review is eligible for public display during the submission process.

True Voice Review may remove, revise, reformat, relocate, or discontinue public review listings, promotional posts, featured-book placement, or website content at its discretion.

12. Five-Book Selections

A Five-Book Rating is recognition earned through the editorial review process. It is not available for purchase and is not guaranteed by any package level.

Books receiving a Five-Book Rating may be considered for additional visibility, seals, featured placement, social-media promotion, newsletters, or special recommendation lists. Such recognition is discretionary and may change based on available space, editorial standards, and promotional capacity.

13. Social-Media Advertising and Promotional Services

Where included in a package, social-media promotion, advertising, press release distribution, graphics, or other promotional services are provided as described in the package terms.

True Voice Review does not guarantee specific sales, rankings, clicks, followers, reviews, media coverage, retailer placement, reader response, or financial results from promotional activity.

Promotional schedules may be adjusted based on business needs, platform limitations, advertising policies, technical issues, or available marketing capacity.

14. Press Releases

Press releases are prepared for promotional and informational purposes. They are not guaranteed to be published, picked up by media outlets, distributed by third parties, or produce media coverage.

Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy of factual details they provide, including names, dates, credentials, book descriptions, links, claims, awards, and contact information.

15. Prohibited Content and Conduct

True Voice Review may refuse or discontinue service for submissions or conduct that involve:

  • Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of another person’s work

  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading claims

  • Threats, harassment, abusive conduct, or intimidation

  • Illegal content or material

  • Attempts to manipulate ratings, reviews, public listings, or promotional claims

  • Content that creates unreasonable legal, safety, or reputational risk

  • Any conduct that interferes with the operation of True Voice Review

16. No Guarantee of Sales or Results

True Voice Review does not guarantee book sales, bestseller status, public attention, retailer placement, positive reader reviews, media coverage, award recognition, or any particular business outcome.

A professional review may strengthen an author’s marketing materials, but the author remains responsible for publishing, promotion, pricing, distribution, advertising, reader engagement, and all other business decisions.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, True Voice Review, its owners, contractors, reviewers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business-related damages arising from use of the website, review services, promotional services, public reviews, ratings, or related materials.

If liability is found, True Voice Review’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the author for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to protect, defend, and hold harmless True Voice Review and its representatives from claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your submitted content

  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights

  • Your use or misuse of True Voice Review content

  • False, misleading, or unauthorized information provided by you

19. Privacy
